15 years of Rock On!!: Songs from the film that still stay in our hearts

Rock On!! is unlike any other Bollywood film. The musical drama was released 15 years ago and changed the course of Bollywood music. The groundbreaking film also changed the way mainstream Bollywood viewed rock bands. The movie had it all, from the perfect cast to the story and, most importantly, the songs. Because the film followed the journey of a music band and its members over time, the songs played an important role in the film's success, and we believe they did. For the longest time, rock bands were associated with delinquent members of society on a journey to annul societal norms. Rock musicians were stereotypically associated with alcoholism and drug abuse in mainstream cinema, but this Abhishek Kapoor-directed film provided a fresh, humane perspective. The film looks at a band called Magik and how their love of music has remained constant despite changes in dynamics.
