Goldfish tells the tale of a mother in pain who struggles with the perils of dementia while dealing with a damaged relationship with her daughter. Sadhana’s (Deepti Naval) is on a journey of wading through a disease as painful as dementia whilst having constant arguments with her daughter Anamika (Kalki Koechlin). It sheds light on the ageing, unresolved conversations between a mother and daughter and the lament Sadhana carries in her heart for sacrificing her career for motherhood.
