Exclusive! Mithila Palkar lists her favourite beauty products

Mithila Palkar is one millennial diva we just can’t get enough of. She’s quirky, simple, sweet and has the most amazing social media presence. She’s unfiltered and gives her followers a glimpse of her life without any inhibitions. As she gets candid with us about beauty, we find out what’s her favourite way to care for her skin and what products she loves right now.

What's your AM and PM skincare routine?

I'm the worst at it. It's only when my skin started misbehaving that I started my skin care routine. I'd taken it for granted for far too long.  Now I've started washing my face in the morning. You have to put on sunscreen when you go out, no matter where you go or what time you go. That's what I diligently do. In the evening, no matter how tired I am, I make sure all my makeup is off, I wash my face with a face wash, put on my night cream and then sleep. I make sure I get my lazy bum out of bed to do this. Also you need to drink a lot of water. It's very underrated and I often forget to drink water. My father has been telling me to drink water since forever but I never listen to him.

Your favourite product...

I'm going to be lame and tell you that I swear by Vaseline. That's it. I don't go for any lipgloss or anything. The minute my lips feel chapped, Vaseline is the one product

I swear by. It's the first thing that comes to my mind.

Five beauty essentials you can't live without...

All sorts of things I use for my hair. I have finally found the right tricks and hacks to maintain my curls, so all the products I need for that. Shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioners, oils... all of that. I have suddenly realised that it is very important to take care of yourself before anything else. As actors, we have so much going on, on our hair, on our face, the heat that goes in, so you have to be aware. Then there is this cream called emolene. It's medicinal, but it's very good.
