Shefali Shah as Shailaja makes you ponder over the simpler joys in life. She’s suffering from dementia and though she has a well-settled family life with her husband Dipankar (Swanand Kirkire) and her son, she longs to go back to Vengurla where she spent four years of her life. Though she has bits and pieces of memories missing from her memory, she rekindles the missing joy with her childhood friends, especially Pradeep (Jaideep Ahlawat). She relives her earlier days on his path of self-discovery which perhaps got lost in the daily hustle and bustle of life.
